Welcome!

I thought that it could be helpful to have a blog for our book club to help with some basics - like communicating when and where our next meeting is (no more lost emails!), as well as facilitating any discussions we may need or want to have between meetings.

On the right, under the heading "The 411," there is a link to a separate page where we all can post basic information about when and where we are next meeting and what book we have chosen.  This page should stay simple - i.e. free of comments - so that people can find the information easily.  If we have lengthy discussions going on, that important information may get buried.  (Because we will be posting addresses and phone numbers, I've restricted access to this blog to our group's members only.)

For now, feel free to have discussions (no spoilers!) and post general comments here - on the "Home" page. 

Also, on the right, under the heading "Our Favorite Books," there is a link to a separate page where we all can share the names of books, which we may not read together as a group, but we love the books so much, we want to shout their names from the roof tops. 

If you would like to receive an email anytime someone posts a comment to this blog, let me know.  (You can also become a "Follower" by clicking on the link on the right, but I am not sure whether this result in an email for the comments, too.  If you know, fill me in, too!)
